Colby is 9 Months Old

Colby is 9 months old!!! If it is possible, she just continues to be more and more fun. She is a very determined little girl and now wants to move all the time! She has discovered other things to push (besides the walker) and is still a very fast little crawler. She always wants to play with whatever Big Sister is playing with and does not like to be left alone in a room - unless it is to sleep.

Colby has also begun to speak, which is also tons of fun. After lots of coaching from Daddy, her first word was "Ball!" She has a mini football which she adores and refers to it as "Da." While I was skeptical at first as to whether or not to count this as a first word, I am now convinced she really does mean "ball." She also says "Dada" a ton and occasionally "Daddy!" Still working on "Mama"...

So far she is able to sign "more," which she uses often during feedings of baby food and real food. What a good little eater!
