Flooded!

Well - we received a great big welcome to Colorado treat this evening... After some foreboding thunder and lighting late this afternoon, an absolute downpour ensued around 6pm and still has not let up. We were initially quite lucky to have our DVD player, big tv, dish box and old tivo box survive 2 open windows when the rain began. But unfortunately our luck did not hold.

After Aaron and Mark spend 3+ hours using a wet-vac to soak up the water pouring into Mark & Ann's basement, we returned home to find that our new basement had also FLOODED! Everything we had put downstairs to unpack when time allowed (computers, guest bed, office supplies and more) was soaked! We quickly picked up and moved everything to dryer ground and enlisted Mark's help to now dry out our basement. Aaron is still down there working on it so I will post later how it all turns out...
