We pulled it off! After our week in So Cal, we flew up to Portland on Christmas Day and surprised Grammy & Dadoo on their doorstep! Carter went up to ring the bell and Grammy saw her through the window. She says she thought she was hallucinating :) Dadoo was up in the shower, but heard a commotion and came down, dripping wet, in a towel (thank goodness) to find us all in their living room. What a fun surprise! We enjoyed Christmas dinner at Aunnie Wannie's house with all of the Carter family, including Great Grandma & Grandpa.
We also squeezed in a visit to Washington Square, where the girls love to play, visits with Ken & Pete, Bellagio's pizza and Bento. All our Portland faves!
